WOODWORM (Anobium Punctatum)
Woodworm is a small wood boring beetle which eats into the fabric of timber making hundreds of small tunnels in the timber where they lay their eggs.
The cycle continues until the structural fabric of the timber is no longer able to hold the structure it was installed for.

REMEDIAL ACTION:
PREPARATION - Timbers structurally damaged by the infestation should be removed and replaced with new treated timbers. The remaining timbers throughout the building should be treated as follows.
Lift every fourth or fifth board throughout the building to facilitate the treatment of the underside of timbers.
TREATMENT - Apply by means of spraying to all exposed and accessible timbers throughout the building, our DAMPCO ACTIVE8-II water dilutable micro-emulsion, dual purpose concentrate, based on permethrin. Active 8-II is virtually odorless, non flammable and has deep penetration for maximum insect kill and fungicidal protection.
